Every September, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton Burlington (BBBSHB) hosts a Promise Scholarship evening, where 10 grade 7 “little’s” will receive a Promise Scholarship — that’s $2,000 toward their post secondary education tuition (kept in trust until they are accepted to university or college). In recognition of our hosting the Over the Edge fundraising event, BBBSHB honoured Real Properties Jackson Square by naming one of this years’ scholarships after us. It was our honour to present Yo’lomba Muma with a Promise Scholarship. Congratulations go to Yo’lomba for his hard work in earning the scholarship – we wish him best of luck!
